Welcome to the JMU ecoCampus Project's website. This is a class project whose aim is to implement changes to the upcoming dorms on James Madison University's campus. We will use student research and analysis of currently available materials on the market to help create a more ecologically friendly dorm for future students. 

What is ecologically friendly? Buzz words are used a lot lately like "organic" and "green" but our goals are to build from more sustainable materials, decrease energy consumption, and increase product lifespan. At the same time we will create a more conducive learning and living environment that is a model for all modern structures.
